ENGINEERING SUCCESS:
Problem-Solving on a Global Scale

with Bruce Bedlam

British-born Bruce Bedlam of the Royal Corps of Engineers has been charged with solving problems of both a military nature and of British National Security. He is also the world's foremost authority on Stonehenge, the earth's most famous prehistoric monument. As an inventor and entrepreneur, Bruce is also known for creating the Bedlam Cube, Britain's version of Rubik's Cube.

In this fascinating and illuminating presentation, Bruce takes you through his personal problem-solving and leadership process, sharing with executive students and managers his method for seeing all parts of an issue or challenge, including future consequences, and how to engineer solutions and change processes.

OPEN CHALLENGES IN CLOSED SYSTEMS: An On-Your-Feet, Hands-On, Interactive Workshop in Crisis Management

Once your students have completed this remarkable workshop, they will feel more capable and perhaps even more powerful in situations that, to others, may seem  unmanageable and even impossible.

We divide your group into three teams.  Each team must manage one of three different situations: situations that appear to have no solution.  Time is of the essence, and swift action is necessary in order to avert disaster. How will your teams work together under pressure?  Who will lead?  How will decisions be made? This award-winning three-hour module helps build agility, trust, tenacity, self-awareness, communication and confidence.

“OPEN CHALLENGES IN CLOSED SYSTEMS” was part of the Boeing Executive Program from 1998-2006.
